Las Plant are proud to be supporting the Bridge to Bridge cycle for the second year – just under 200 cyclists completed an astonishing 77 mile cycle from Skye to Inverness, raising over £100,000 for DREAM BELIEVE ACHIEVE and The Elsie Normington Foundation.
Dream Believe Achieve Highland is a local charity which aims to provide grants for children with disabilities and additional needs in the Highlands of Scotland in order for them to access specialised therapies which cannot be provided/funded by the NHS.
The Elsie Normington Foundation work closely with DREAM BELIEVE ACHIEVE to provide opportunities for children and young people with disabilities at their purpose-built facility, The Haven Centre.
“the Haven Centre will be Scotland’s first multi-purpose centre for children and young people with severe, profound and multiple learning disabilities and complex needs in Inverness. We believe that every young person deserves the opportunity to lead a rich social life, access facilities where their needs are met, make new friends and enjoy life” – The Elsie Normington Foundation
A goody bag was given out to all who helped on the day which included a lovely note from one of the Haven Centre’s service users – Liam. Las Plant provided technical and logistical support in the planning of the event, and on the day. An all round successful day for everyone involved and we are thoroughly looking forward to next year!
