Low level Access
Low level access platforms are ideal for providing an alternative safe working area to traditional step ladders. The lightweight and compact design of these machines provides low ground bearing capacities, the ability to fit through standard doorways and fit into lifts.
Self propelled Boom Lifts
Boom lifts offer a large working envelope and can reach either straight up or horizontally. There are 2 different types of Self propelled boom lifts, Straight or Articulated boom. Articulated booms are ideal for reaching up and over obstacles where as straight booms are unable to bend but offer greater outreach. Our range includes both diesel and battery operated machines for indoor and outdoor applications.
Scissor lifts are used for going straight up and down directly below the required work area. They are available with various working heights and specifications with battery or diesel power.
Trailer booms whilst having similar working duties to self propelled boom lifts offer a lightweight alternative relying on the use of outriggers legs for stability compared to ballast weights on the self propelled booms. The trailer booms can be towed to site allowing customers to collect with a suitable towing vehicle. Once on site slow speed drive systems allow the machine to be position accurately into the required position, the outrigger legs also allow the machine to be leveled out on small gradients.
Tracked booms offer the same similarities of self propelled booms but being mounted on a tracked chassis allows them to be very maneuverable and offer very low ground bearing capacities. Tracked booms have a very narrow travel width making them ideal for jobs with restricted access width, once in position outrigger legs are used for stability and leveling.
Ground guards are available for hire to protect the surface below or to spread the load of the machine when accessing the work area
Careful consideration should be given when using a machine with outriggers with regard to the ground bearing capacity. Outrigger mats are available for hire to go below each of the outrigger feet to spread the loads on the surface below.
